A Divine Night in Delaware celebrates the historic Divine Nine and the tremendous talent of the First State. The inaugural event highlighted OperaDelaware, First State Ballet Theatre, and celebrated artists in a variety of genres including Richard Raw (hip-hop), Nadjah Nicole (R&B, neo-soul), and Jonathan Whitney (jazz drums).

First State Ballet Theatre will present “Celestials” by Viktor Plotnikov, “La Esmeralda” pas de deux, and “Talisman” pas de deux, featuring performances by the Company Artists as well as a student performance.
