HOW TO BUY TICKETS
Tickets for our 2024/25 season go on sale to the public July 15!
Buy online and select your own seats. All online orders will be confirmed via e-mail. If you do not receive an email with your order number, please call 302-442-7807.
By Phone: Call 302-442-7807, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm except holidays. The box office is closed the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
OPERA FOR ALL DISCOUNTS
OperaDelaware believes that experiencing the arts brings communities together, and we are honored to be supported by M&T Bank & Wilmington Trust to make tickets for OperaDelaware’s mainstage productions at The Grand Opera House accessible and affordable.
Performance Packages: Purchase tickets to both mainstage operas at The Grand and use code GRAND2425 at check out for a 20% discount.
Opera for All sponsored by M&T Bank: Through the Opera for All program, OperaDelaware provides complimentary tickets to mainstage operas to nonprofit employees and volunteers in the First State. Please contact our box office to learn more.
Veterans/Active Military: 10% savings for veterans/active military members and their families; Ticket orders must be made over the phone at 302-442-7807 or at the venue one hour before curtain. Must present a valid military ID when picking up tickets at Will Call. Subject to availability. This offer cannot be combined with other discounts.
Students: $15 tickets; Ticket orders must be made over the phone at 302-442-7807 or at the venue one hour before curtain. Students must show valid student ID when picking up their tickets at Will Call. Limited to 2 tickets per performance. Subject to availability and may apply to certain seating sections.
Senior Citizens: 10% savings for senior citizens; Ticket orders must be made over the phone at 302-442-7807 or at the venue one hour before the show. This offer cannot be combined with other discounts.
ORGANIZE A GROUP FOR A SPECIAL RATE

WILL CALL & TICKET DELIVERY OPTIONS
Follow signs in the venue lobby to the Will Call table. Please present your photo ID to the ticket agent on duty. Please note: If you order tickets to multiple performances and select “Will Call” as the delivery method, you will have to pick up the tickets at each performance. If you want to receive all your tickets at once, please choose the “E-mail” or “Mail” delivery methods.
REFUND AND EXCHANGE POLICY
All sales are final. Exchanges may be available at the discretion of management and subject to a fee. Patrons who purchase packages and donors of a certain level may be entitled to free exchanges, always subject to availability. You assume all risk and danger incidental to event attendance whether occurring prior to, during, or after said event. You assume all risk and danger of injury and you agree that the management, its agents, and the performers are not responsible or liable for any injuries resulting from such causes.
Management reserves the right to refuse admission or eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly or who fails to comply with the terms and conditions herein.
No recording devices, still cameras, or video cameras are permitted during performances at The Grand Opera House. No transmission or aiding in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the performance.
At Pop-Up Opera performances, you are encouraged to take photos and videos and share on social media, tagging @OperaDelaware on Facebook and Instagram.
By attending an OperaDelaware event, you and your guests (A) agree and understand that OperaDelaware or its agent may take photography or videography of the event which may capture the image and likeness of attendees; and (B) grant to OperaDelaware the right and unrestricted permission to use any such photographs or videos in publications, news releases, social media posts, and in other communications related to the mission of OperaDelaware.
Professional photography is a regular part of the OperaDelaware experience, and by attending an OperaDelaware event, you consent to your likeness being used in future marketing materials to promote OperaDelaware. Thank you!
PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates are good for our mainstage productions, subject to availability. To purchase, please call our box office at 302-442-7807.
Please note: Gift certificates cannot be redeemed online. Recipients must call the box office at 302-442-7807. Certificates must be redeemed at least 48 hours prior a performance.
VENUE SEATING & LATE POLICY
Seats are grouped by odd and even numbers depending on their location in the theater. For example, seats 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 are together and seats 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 are together. Some performances may restrict late seating. Usually, late comers will be required to wait in the back for a predetermined interval before they are allowed to take their seats. Other performances may restrict late seating until intermission. This determination is always at the house management’s discretion and patrons are encouraged to arrive early.
ACCESSIBILITY
All of OperaDelaware’s venues have designated wheelchair accessible seating that is reserved specifically for those needing such accommodations. To request accessible seating, please call 302-442-7807.
PERFORMANCE INFORMATION
- Program, artists, prices, and venues are subject to change without notice.
- Tickets for sold-out performances may be available at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Video and photography is strictly prohibited during all performances.
