Cinderella
Rossini | 2017 Festival

About
Composed 200 years ago, Rossini’s setting of Cinderella (La Cenerentola) has stood the test of time. Glass slippers are replaced by bracelets, there’s no fairy godmother to be found, but there’s still a healthy dose of wicked step-sisters and happily-ever-after. La Cenerentola will enchant both the young and the young at heart.

Starring Megan Marino as Angelina, Jack Swanson as Ramiro, Sean Anderson as Dandini, and Steven Condy as Don Magnifico. Maestro Michael Borowitz conducts and A. Scott Parry directs.

(Featuring the OperaDelaware Orchestra and Chorus. Sung in Italian, with projected English Supertitles.)
