Youth Opera Program

imageOperaDelaware’s Youth Opera Program gives children (Grades 3-12) a chance to develop key performance and technical skills while building confidence in a nurturing environment. Whether they’re just trying to get their feet wet or a dedicated theatre enthusiast, YOP is designed to enhance their abilities and help them begin to explore a new, wide world of opportunities.

Sessions are led by energetic and experienced theater professionals who simply have one goal in mind: to develop the natural talent within each and every one of the YOP participants. That talent may not always be so easy to find, and our teachers understand the amount of hard work each student must exert to hone their skills. Because of this, they design fun and creative learning environments that truly inspire children – because when hard work is enjoyable, it doesn’t seem much like work at all.
